A good design is one that lasts over time. This is the case with the Plaff-on! A lamp that has been illuminating ceilings and walls for almost ten years. This very functional collection has been updated and now its new versions – in two sizes of 33 and 50 cm in diameter and in black finish – include the IP protection grade. Its screens are waterproof, designed to illuminate any outdoor or indoor space, including bathrooms.
Its white blown glass diffuser seems to float, detached from the ring that surrounds it, and its light filters down creating a luminous halo around it. It radiates simplicity, while it’s useful.

A good design is one that endures. So it is with Plaff-on!, a lamp that has been illuminating walls and ceilings for almost ten years. Its hand-blown white glass diffuser appears to float, detaching from the ceiling and the circumference that surrounds it, and its light filters upward to create a luminous halo. It exudes simplicity and it’s very useful, so much so that there was a striking need to have this kind of lamp for exteriors as well. The Plaff-on! outdoor offers the same features as the indoor version, and with an IP65 or IP54 rating, making it perfect for bathrooms as well.
Indoors, outdoors, with or without signage, the Plaff-on! now offers multiple options in one lamp that can now conquer the outdoors as well.
Joan Gaspar's designs comprise successful, beautiful and purely functional ideas.

"lamps that have to come unnoticed: even when they are lighted their aim is to give well-being and warmness."
Joan Gaspar opened its own studio in Barcelona in 2002 in addition to its job as creative director at Marset.
"What makes a product good or not so good, depends on the designer and in great part on the firm that produces it and, above all, on how it produces it, how it launches it into the market, how it communicates it, and how it promotes it. Among all of these 'how', I would stand out the 'how it produces it'. Technical solutions and the materials that are used determine the image and functionality of the product, there lies its success or its failure," states Joan Gaspar.
